Dr. of UB Joan Santacana, will analyze the next wednesday the situation, accompanied by the heads of a dozen facilities in Lleida and Tarragona

(02/16/2014) Highlighting what are the difficulties being experienced by the interpretation and culture centers of Catalonia in order to meet the future challenges of these facilities. This is the central element of the workshop organized on Wednesday by Espai Orígens, in Camarasa. The aim is to strengthen its role as a dynamic agent of change in a moment regarding subsidy policy.

The academic analysis and regional supply and operation of interpretive centers and other facilities that are similar in Catalonia will be given by the Dr. Joan Santacana, a PhD in Education at the University of Barcelona (UB), who heads its investigations, among others, on the slopes of the teaching of heritage, museology and protohistoric archaeology.

Fifteen centers of the province of Lleida and Tarragona participate actively in the workshop session also obtain information on the various tools provided by the government to help in the promotion of these facilities. The presentations will be given by officials of the Department of Museums of the Government as well as representatives of regional programs Leader.
