Thematic routes are one of the most attractive events of the area. Special interest has the rock prehistoric paintings considered Human World Heritage by UNESCO. You can find paintings in Cova del Tabac (Camarasa) and to Cova dels Vilars (Ós de Balaguer), both visited. Another proposal is to follow the dinosaurs’ route in an area known as Cretaci, like the archaeological site of Massana traces, next to C13 road.

If you are interested in knowing the Romanesque Art, you can follow the Arnau Mir de Tost route, a noble military from the Urgell County born after the year 1000. He is known for its role to recover these lands from the Muslims. The route has three interesting points: Castle and Collegiate of Sant Pere d’Àger (Noguera), the Castle of Mur and Collegiate of Santa Maria de Mur (Pallars Jussà) and the Castle Residential Palace of Llordà (Pallars Jussà).

The Spanish Civil War has also footprints in this landscape and now is possible to visit some of the memory space of the Segre Battle. Because of the proximity, is possible to visit the area of El Merengue, bunkers of Foradada or the hole of the Tarteu bombs, adding the itinerary that runs through different point of Cap de Pont de Balaguer.

Other interesting cultural points are: Chapel of Mare de Déu del Castell in Sant Llorenç de Montgai with spectacular views; the hydroelectric, the old town and medieval bridge of Camarasa. In the nearby village of Ós de Balaguer is also possible to visit the monastery of Santa Maria de Bellpuig de les Avellanes and in Balaguer there is the Museum of La Noguera where you can delve into the history of the territory.
