Espai Orígens is a centre focused in the dissemination of the natural and cultural heritage of Montsec area. It is managed by the Association for Research and Promotion of historical heritage, a non-profit organization closely linked with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

We focus our practice in the Prehistoric period, from research to tourism. This way, we link the research made in the field and in the laboratory of Centre d’Estudis del Patrimoni Arqueològic de la Prehistòria (CEPAP)  of UAB – Prehistoric Archaeological Heritage study centre – with the experience activities opened to all kinds of public.

We advocate for a sustainable and environmentally tourism. This is the reason why we promote nature hiking or biking trails surrounded our centre, in the Montroig Mountains and close to the confluence of Segre and Noguerra Pallaresa rivers.

Our commitment is public service; this is the reason why we also organize series of free activities targeting the local population. Our building is at the disposal of the locals.
